I have officially received my Doctor of Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) degree today. The degree was awarded by the Faculty 7: Natural and Environmental Sciences of the University of Koblenz-Landau. I have successfully defended my dissertation entitled “Human and Ecological Impacts of Freshwater Degradation on Large Scales. Development and Integration of Spatial Models with Ecological Models for Spatial-ecological Analyses” on December 2, 2015.

Since I am committed to promote open-science, I have made my dissertation and presentation slides publicly available from my Github repositories in a reproducible format (people who are not used to or familiar with LaTeX, please only download the .pdf files). My dissertation consists of four articles, which are accessible via my researchgate page. Moreover, the Ph.D. research contributed with two open-source tools for large scale spatial analyses that are freely available from my Github repositories, i.e. ATRIC and SSTP.
I will be happy to provide if you need further information or collaborate if you have further interests on this topic.
